Western Colorado Community Foundation Selects MicroEdge|NPO Solutions
New York — May 18, 2005 - MicroEdge Inc., a subsidiary of Advent Software (NASDAQ:ADVS) and leading provider of software and services for the philanthropic community, today announced that the Western Colorado Community Foundation has chosen MicroEdge|NPO Solutions' hosted Foundation Information Management System (FIMS) to get up and running quickly, simplify foundation operations and improve constituent and donor relations.
With over $5.1 million in permanent endowment assets and more than 80 funds to manage, the Foundation recognized the value an information management system could bring to their organization. "We have wanted to have specialized, integrated software for quite a while," states Anne Wenzel, Executive Director for the Foundation. "We did all of our research, and now, thanks to some generous donors in our community we are excited to be able to move ahead with FIMS."
