MicroEdge, Inc. Acquires U.K.-Based Vivid Orange Limited
Vivid Orange SmartChange(SM) Solution Strengthens MicroEdge Leadership in the Corporate Philanthropy Market and Expands its Suite of Hosted Offerings
New York - November 28, 2007 - MicroEdge, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Advent Software (NASDAQ: ADVS) and leading provider of solutions for the grantmaking community worldwide, announced today that it has acquired London-based Vivid Orange Limited.
Vivid Orange is the leading provider of corporate community involvement and employee giving technology in the U.K. Vivid Orange’s SmartChange(SM) is a web-based solution that helps companies and charities manage their corporate community involvement and employee giving initiatives; it is the leading product of its type in the U.K. with clients including several major global companies representing the financial services, pharmaceutical, energy and media sectors among others.
The acquisition of Vivid Orange adds significant depth to MicroEdge’s already robust portfolio of corporate philanthropy solutions, accelerates its ability to deliver a hosted platform and expands MicroEdge’s leadership position in the global corporate-giving sector, which encompasses billions of dollars in annual giving.

Pilot participants have cited an increase in participation, efficiency, and effectiveness of these important employee programs.
