MicroEdge Announces Release of GIFTS® Software Development Kit (SDK)
Further Extending The Reach of the GIFTS Grants Management Software Solution
New York, NY, October 25, 2004 - MicroEdge, Inc.,
the world's leading provider of solutions for charitable giving, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Advent Software, (NASDAQ:ADVS), announced today at their annual Solutions Conference the release of the GIFTS® Software Development Kit (GIFTS SDK). This release is part of the MicroEdge commitment to extending the GIFTS platform, and will empower the GIFTS user community to enhance and integrate their GIFTS grants management software in ways that would have not been possible before.
At the heart of this software developer's toolkit is the application programming interface (API) that serves as an "access point" to the underlying functionality of the GIFTS system. With the GIFTS SDK, MicroEdge clients can create custom applications and user interfaces that include client-specific business logic and workflows, or create integration with third party software.
