MicroEdge Presents New Product Offering to GIFTS Users in Live Broadcast
New York - November 23, 2005 - MicroEdge, a wholly owned subsidiary of Advent Software (NASDAQ: ADVS) and leading provider of solutions for the grantmaking community worldwide introduced its new product offering, GIFTS Plus Pack .NET Extension, in a live broadcast to clients. The webcast held yesterday via WebEx, was presented by MicroEdge Director of Business Development Kevin Carlsten, and by Chick Leiby, the creator of GIFTS Plus Pack, to an audience of GIFTS® grants management software users. The event marked the official launch of the company's latest technology product.
GIFTS Plus Pack .NET Extension is a set of utilities created to extend the functionality and value of the GIFTS enterprise grants management system. The GIFTS Plus Pack integrates seamlessly with the GIFTS solution to further facilitate effective and efficient grantmaking, information sharing and database management.
The live broadcast offered MicroEdge clients a detailed demonstration of the new functionality provided by GIFTS Plus Pack, including quick and easy batch update of vast amounts of information in the GIFTS database, and further reduction of the administrative overhead associated with managing grant programs, allowing grantmakers to focus on higher value activities. The initial GIFTS Plus Pack release includes four utilities built on the Microsoft .NET platform:
- GIFTS Batch Plus
- GIFTS Requirements Plus
- GIFTS Email Plus
- GIFTS Charts Plus
