MicroEdge Releases GIFTS® Plus Pack V2 .NET
New York, August 14, 2006 – MicroEdge, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Advent Software (NASDAQ: ADVS) and a leading provider of solutions for the grantmaking community worldwide, has released a second version of GIFTS® Plus Pack .NET Extension, its powerful set of add-on tools for the GIFTS® grants management solution. This new version, which marks a major milestone in the ongoing development of the product, provides GIFTS® users with five new powerful, modular tools that are simple to integrate and ready to use.
"GIFTS® Plus Pack V2 .NET Extension is our vision of the GIFTS® product line future, available right here and now," said MicroEdge Vice President Kevin Carlsten. "This second version extends the functionality and value of the GIFTS® enterprise grants management system, allowing for rapid deployment of select enhancements."
GIFTS® Plus Pack V2 .NET Extension is a separate utilities option for GIFTS® users. The .NET Extension component is a one-time investment that GIFTS® users will need to take advantage of the ongoing release of specific GIFTS® Plus Pack modules. The utilities are available at no cost.
The new offering delivers five .NET add-on utilities:
- GIFTS® Email Plus
- GIFTS® Charts Plus
- GIFTS® Requirements Plus
- GIFTS® Batch Plus
- GIFTS® Payment Scheduler

"With Email Plus, we are able to reach all our touch points whenever we want to with targeted messaging, and with any associated documents attached."
