MicroEdge | NPO Solutions Releases FIMS 11
New York - July 19, 2005 - MicroEdge, a wholly owned subsidiary of Advent Software (NASDAQ: ADVS) and leading provider of solutions for the grantmaking community worldwide, announced today that FIMS 11, the latest version of their premier Foundation Information Management Software platform, is now available. FIMS, the leading integrated fund management system for community, faith-based and educational foundations, provides improved constituent relationship management, automated fund level unitized investment allocations, and powerful donor development tools to enhance donor relations and facilitate more strategic communications through integrated Windows and Internet based programs.
FIMS 11 is the result of the Enhancement Suggestion process, where MicroEdge | NPO Solutions clients have unlimited access to participate in the research and development process by reporting feedback and 'wish lists' that eventually result in upgrades and new development. This new version provides enhanced reporting capabilities, expanded contact management capacity and integrated data management from Internet to the database, all features that MicroEdge | NPO clients indicated were important to their future success.
