Software and Philanthropic Industry Expert Denise Shephard Named Chief Technology Officer for MicroEdge
New CTO Shephard to Manage Technology, Product Development, and IT Strategic Direction and Implementation.
New York, March 21, 2007 – MicroEdge, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Advent Software (NASDAQ: ADVS) and leading provider of solutions for the grant-making community worldwide, today announced the appointment of Denise Shephard as Chief Technology Officer. Ms. Shephard has 24 years experience in a wide range of technology positions. In 1991, she was recruited to Microsoft and spent eight years in several key product development roles. In 2003, Ms. Shephard founded her own grant-making software firm, Collaborative Standards, which she sold to Kintera, Inc., and took the position of Kintera's Vice President of Product.
