Mr. Landwirth will discuss the importance of the music program and other aspects of music education and its impact on lives of young students.

Generously funded by Walt Disney World Co., AGFM provides violins, violas, and cellos and instruction to more than 800 urban elementary school students each year in Orange County who otherwise would never have the chance to play a stringed instrument. Then, in partnering with the University of Central Florida's Music Department, AGFM provides quality instruction twice a week with assistance from UCF Music Performance and Music Education students, serving as a learning laboratory for UCF students while giving these children the opportunity of a lifetime.
