William T. Rountree III
Chief Executive Officer
Bill Rountree joined MicroEdge in October 2009 as Chief Executive Officer. With more than twenty-five years of experience in technology companies, Bill brings to MicroEdge extensive knowledge of business strategy and product management related to complex software systems. Most recently, Bill was CEO of triVIN, Inc., the nation’s leading provider of automated motor vehicle registration services and electronic title management. triVIN’s broad suite of software products automate and simplify the vehicle registration and titling process for thousands of automobile dealerships, leasing companies, financial institutions and consumers. During his twelve years at triVIN, the company grew from less than one million to approximately sixty million dollars in annual revenues.

Prior to his role at triVIN, Bill successfully led a business unit at Motorola that was responsible for the development and distribution of software products for Motorola’s wireless data devices. As a consultant and case team leader with The Boston Consulting Group, he advised Fortune 500 clients in a variety of industries and was responsible for overseeing and structuring client engagement teams. Bill began his career as an engineer at IBM Corporation, where he focused on communication products development.

An involved community volunteer, Bill has served in various leadership roles with the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut over the years, including as chairman of its Board of Directors. Until resigning to take the helm at MicroEdge in New York, he was an active United Way volunteer and was serving his sixth year as a member of the organization’s Board of Directors.

Bill earned his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and graduated summa cum laude from Duke University with a B.S. in Engineering.


Benny Melumad
Chief Technology Officer
Benny joined MicroEdge in 2004, bringing with him 15 years of experience in technology and information systems, with a focus in the areas of development, database administration and management.

During his time at MicroEdge, Benny has served in various technical roles, such as manager of Research & Development and Custom Programming Services prior to becoming Chief Technology Officer in 2007. In his current role as CTO, Benny is responsible for the technology direction of MicroEdge, managing the development of existing and future products and providing technological solutions and services to MicroEdge’s clients.

Benny started his career as a database administrator and system programmer at the primary Information Technology group in the Israeli Defense Forces. He went on to play diverse technical roles at financial institutions such as Gvanim Derivatives, Bank Hapoalim (Israel’s largest bank) and Actrade Capital.

Prior to joining MicroEdge, Benny headed a highly visible project at BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), a Fortune 500 global medical technology company, that involved the monitoring and management of crisis situations related to epidemics and bioterrorism. Benny holds a BA in Economics from the Tel-Aviv University and an MBA in Finance from the City University of New York.


William W. Lee
Chief Financial Officer
Will Lee joined MicroEdge in January 2010 as Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Will oversees accounting, finance, human resources, and facilities planning at MicroEdge. With twenty years of experience, Will has been responsible for finance and accounting, business strategy formulation, business partner management, and corporate development in a variety of industries. For the last nine years he held senior leadership roles in technology-focused companies.

Most recently, Will served as Senior Vice President of Finance at IntraLinks, Inc., the leading provider of virtual datarooms for the secure exchange of critical information both inside and outside the firewall. During his four years at IntraLinks, the company grew from thirty-eight million dollars in revenue to one hundred and fifty million dollars and expanded to include operations in fifteen countries with clients in virtually every country around the world.

Prior to his role at IntraLinks, Will was responsible for Strategic Planning, New Product Development, Corporate Development, and Business Partner Management for a software division of McKesson, Inc. During his tenure, projects envisioned and executed by his team were responsible for growing revenue by fifty percent over the subsequent few years. Before joining McKesson, Will was responsible for finance and accounting at Medscape, Inc., where he played an instrumental role in its sale to WebMD.

Will is a CFA charterholder and earned his MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management. He graduated magna cum laude from SUNY Oswego with a B.S. in Economics and a Minor in German.
